Abraham Storer

I am a painter currently living and working on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where I was raised and recently returned with my family after living in a variety of places in the U.S. and abroad: Boston, New York, Jerusalem, and Poland. My paintings depict the landscape and objects within it as a means of exploring interior personal states, both emotional and spiritual.

I received an MFA from Boston University, a BA from Brandeis University and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.  I have shown work in Jerusalem, New York, Boston, Houston and Tel Aviv, receiving press in publications such as The Jerusalem Post, The Times of Israel, New American Paintings, Art New England and the Houston Chronicle.  Honors include a Fulbright Fellowship to Israel and a residency through the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council on Governor’s Island in New York Harbor. I also write about art and culture.
